1   what＇s the materials of your baskets?

   All our baskets are handmade,the materials are wicker, grass,wood,maize and paper rope,metal frame etc.

 

 

2   What is the usual packing of your baskets? 

   We usually have 3 kinds of packing: bale packing; carton packing; bulk packing.

 

   Bale packing:The cost is low,the bale is a woven poly bag.and as the quantity is concerned,we may put more than 10%-20% in 1X40’HQ container than carton packing.More than 70% of the customers like that.For they may get more goods and comparatively low price in the same container.

 

   Carton packing: The cost is a little higher,But it make goods in a top grade and looks more beautiful and protect the goods well during the fransfering process.Most of our super markets and chain store customers like that.

 

   Bulk packing (loose packing): It means no packing.We put the baskets in the container without any packing.The price will be lower,and the quantity will be much more than bale packing,and carton packing.But the goods are easyly damaged dirty.And they look in low grade,although they are same quality as the carton packing,and bale packing.We almost never use the packing.

 

3   What is your minimum order quantity? 

   Our minimum order quantity is 1x20' container for a trial order. But you must tell us when you enquiry.Usually,we quote you based on the quantity of 1x40’HQ container.All know that the baskets are inexpensive and our benefit is low,we have to change the price a little higher for small quanlity like 1x20’ container.

 

4   What is your lead-time?

  The lead-time depend on the size of the order, the items ordered and the season when order is placed. Normally it takes 50-90 days, sometimes less than 40 days and sometimes more than 100 days.

 

  If your order is an urgent one, it means more weavers need to be involved to make your order in the shortest possible time. When it concerns quality control, naturally it would be better to involve fewer weavers and take longer time to make the same quantity of baskets. Remember all baskets are handmade. For handmade items, repeat makes things better. So, whenever possible, place your order early to avoid the rush.

 

  There are some seasons in which weavers do not make baskets. The first is the Chinese New Year season which about starts from 25th of January to the end of February. It usually lasts for about 30 days. The second is the harvest season of wheat that usually starts from early June. It lasts for about 20 days. The third is the harvest season of willow. Usually starting from early July, it takes about 40 days for farmers to harvest willow and peel the material (strip the raw willow). So when you place the order, take the above factors into your consideration.

 

 

5   What are the payment terms? 

(a) By confirmed, divisible, irrevocable , transferable and draft at sight L/C

 

(b) By T/T.

  When the S/C is cofirmed and signed,you need to pay us 30% of the total value for the deposit,and when the goods are on the board,we send you the original documents(B/L, P/L, INVOICE, etc…) to you by fax.As you get the documents copy,pay the balance to us.So after confirm receiving the balance,we will send you all the original documents to you by courier.
